TWC Outreach

TWC Outreach is not your average outreach team. We have a dedicated volunteer staff led by TWC Outreach Director, Brandy Hamrick, that transforms our community every week by showing the love of Jesus Christ no matter the weather, neighborhood or toughest of situations. TWC Outreach is on a mission! Stopping at nothing until they see every man, woman, boy and girl come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
Every Thursday, they hit the streets of urban and abandoned communities in Cincinnati, giving out food, clothing and never forgetting to pray with each individual they come in contact with.
Since 2010, TWC Outreach has seen countless lives COMPLETELY changed and restored. Dozens of families have regained their housing. Numerous people addicted to drugs now clean and children have been reunited with their families. Seeing the amazing success of our Outreach team, we have taken our mission to a "Whole Notha' Level. Below is a list of the incredible things TWC is doing right now to change our COMMUNITY and now, the WORLD!
OUTREACHES WE SUPPORT
Hand of Hope (Gabrielle House): Founded by Joyce Meyer, the Gabrielle House in Thailand is a home for young girls rescued from human trafficking. The stories that come in from this mission is heartbreaking, but we are so glad to be apart of this ministry that is everyday, changing lives!!!
Harbor Missions International: Founded by Pastor George Hale, we support two of his mission works in Uganda, Africa and in the Philippians. Pastor Hale has been in the mission field for over 20 years planting new homes and churches rescuing children and families from famine and slavery.
Redemption Point (House Of Promise): Founded by Pastor Kevin Wallace, H.O.P. is a home for orphans and widows that can come in and have a place to stay but more than that, they get help to regain their lives back and get on a safe path focused on Jesus Christ.
Los Angeles Dream Center: Founded by Pastor Tommy & Matthew Barnett, the Dream center reaches over 40,000 people each month. Services and programs offered include residential rehabilitation programs for teens and adults, a shelter for victims of human trafficking, a transitional shelter for homeless families, mobile hunger relief and medical programs, and a foster care intervention outreach that works closely with Los Angeles County’s Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to keep families intact by delivering the required furnishings, clothing and food to assure that their homes meet DCFS standards. Programs such as adult basic education, job skills training, and life skills counseling are also to homeless families and individuals continue to establish The Dream Center as a vital community development resource.
TWC OUTREACHES
Towne Worship Center (Clothing Bountiful Blessings): B.B. is a clothing store ran out of the ministry house of TWC, that provides FREE clothing from infants all the way up to adults. It is open the third Sunday of every month to the whole community.
Towne Worship Center (Food Pantry Bountiful Blessings): TWC's food pantry is open on the third Sunday of every month providing not only food but also toiletries, cleaning supplies and every day necessities that we take for granted.
Towne Worship Center (Christmas at School): TWC every year goes to Elmwood and Bond Hill Elementary School and gives out presents to the students. These schools are in rough neighborhoods and poverty stricken. Last year, TWC gave gifts to over 500 students that would not have gotten gifts that year at Christmas time.
Towne Worship Center (Street Team): Every Thursday, our Street Team hits four major communities around TWC providing them with food, clothing, and prayer. Last year alone, we touched more than 1300 people and seen 347 of them give their hearts to the Lord. The locations we serve are Avondale, Bond Hill, Elmwood and Walnut Hills.
Towne Worship Center (Adopt-A-Park): TWC hosts a huge day in the central park of Cincinnati, providing activities for kids, clothing and supplies, and the main attraction if the GIANT buffet line the serves hundreds. We end this this event in a giant circle praying for everyone who came out that day. That is a sight to see.
Towne Worship Center (Adopt-A-Block): TWC goes into the surrounding neighborhoods and literally adopts a street and goes to all the house and provides free services such as... Lawn mowing, planting flowers and maintaining the landscaping, trimming trees, painting houses, cleaning out garages and whatever else the people need. We are there to serve!!!
Towne Worship Center (Backpack Day): Before the start of every school year, TWC sees over 300 children receive a brand new backpack filled with school supplies and a study Bible for that upcoming year. We make it a Big Day for them and their family providing after the giveaway, free lunch and over 15 activities for them to enjoy.
Towne Worship Center (Turkey Dinner Giveaway): The Sunday before Thanksgiving, TWC purchases over 200 COMPLETE Thanksgiving Dinners and gives them out to families that may not be able to provide a dinner that year.
Towne Worship Center (Love Week): This is the NEWEST Outreach out of TWC. Love Week is an annual event that takes place the entire week before Easter. CLICK HERE to find out more information on Love Week!!! It's awesome.
Towne Worship Center (Miracle on Towne Street): The whole month of December, TWC finds families within the Church that may be going through rough or trying times, and blesses them with an overwhelming amount of miracles. Miracles in the past have been a brand new refrigerator. Hundreds of dollars to Kroger. VIP tickets to the University of Cincinnati basketball game. A complete makeover and spa day. A shopping spree to Tri-County Mall. All day at Dave & Busters for the kids. A brand new bedroom set along with mattresses and a baby crib. Over 500 dollars worth of toys. Brand new HVAC System installation and NFL Linebacker Rey Maualuga of the Cincinnati Bengals blessed an entire family of TWC to a $2000 Target Shopping spree and each family member with a $250 Under Armor Gift Card.
So you see, it's all about loving God and changing lives. And TWC won't quit until we have put our fingerprint all across this Community, Nation and World!!!
